Herman Cain won the debate. Yes, the guy who invented putting toppings under the cheese just won the first republican presidential debate. The godfather of buying a slice when you're at the gas station beat out seasoned politicians. It's a sad state of affairs for the ole publicans...I also see that the CD wingnut carnival barkers are sterring clear of this thread.

I actually thought Ron Paul did a good job. I liked what he had to say about Israel, which surprised me because so many Jew haters and Israel bashers seem to love him so I've always been suspicious of him. He stated pretty clearly that he supported ending aid to Muslim countries and that they get twice as much aid from us as Israel does! Bingo. I also liked that he rather forcefully asserted that Israel has the right to defend herself and deal with her neighbors as she sees fit. Wonder if the Israel bashers will love him so much after this debate.
