Well if you're looking at governors, Gary Johnson improved his states economic ranking the most in this election, it has gone downhill since he left, but he's getting snubbed. Perry inherited the best state economy, and it isn't as good as it once was, but its still ranking on top. Huntsman took Utah from 10th to 9th, maybe that's worth looking at. MA has been between 1 and 2 in higher education for decades. Maybe that's worth something for Mitt, or maybe it was just like that before he got there. I'm more interested in the economics side.
