Creationism is a ridiculous pseudoscience that has no place in public schools. Perry is pushing creationism to pander to the religious right. That's all. I don't think he believes what he says, he's just trying to get the fundamentalist vote.

You say you are a Christian . What do you believe we evolved from if you believe we evolved? There is a conflict. The Word of God does not say we evolved from an ape. We were created directly by God's hand and created in HIS image. God is a creator. We have the traits of God to create.
There was no path of evolution in the Bible described by scientists.
