Laura, folks outside of the Empire of the state Texas...are wising up to the Dangerous Rick Perry.
Like Dubya Bush.....Perry likes being a dictator....and Bush woke us up....how horrible that was for our nation....even the entire world.

Why are so many....so naive? Texas doesn't hire 'good boys' to run their BIG OIL/FOOTBALL state. Anyone who is or has been a Guvner of Texas....is not a prospect....he's a suspect.
And they LIE (see Dubya Bush saying he didn't know Iraq didn't have WMD's....and took out his personal war with Saddam...and had thousands of Iraqi's and American soldiers brutally killed in the process) ....they lie with a smile on their face. No, we sure don't want another Texan in our 'WH'....
I honestly believe the voters will REALIZE that shortly.

It's fine if you buy into the media groupthink on Perry -- it's easy to just believe everything you read. But you could put a little of your own thought into it.
For example, why don't you let us know who you would prefer? If it's Obama, then it's completely understandable that you'd be afraid. If it's Ron Paul, then you probably shouldn't fear Perry. They are not far apart on several important issues -- especially domestic policy ones.
Ron Paul and Rick Perry are almost opposites. Ron Paul is for a small government while Perry is for big intrusive government. Forced injections and building the NAFTA highway like Rick Perry wants is not small government. People focus on what a candidate says instead of looking at the policies he implements.
I prefer NO one...signed up to run. I prefer ANYONE (other than Paul and Perry) to remove the sitting prez in 2012.
