"The New York Times" has a pretty good article on what to look for in tonight's debate.

Republican Debate: Five Things to Watch - NYTimes.com

Perry will probably be asked about gays, guns, religion and abortion since he's written about those things.

See is Romney attacks Perry about being a career politician.

We'll have to see if Perry's prior record as a Gore campaigner comes up and the NYTimes says Jobs will be a big topic and that Romney will try to get some of his 59 points out from his 59 point plan that some say is very similar (unfortunately) to Obama's jobs plan approach. I haven't read it yet so I don't know. But if Romney thinks the government ought to spend money on job creation, it just shows you what a flip-flopper he is.

Other than seeing Perry for the first time, I don't expect to see anything we haven't seen now about 3 or 4 times. When all is over the Bachmann supporters are going to say, she was wonderful, Paul supporters will tell us he is the only intelligent one running, Romney lovers will swear he will be the only one that can win, Perry supporters are going to say what a great speaker he is an so on and on and on.

This one might be different because for the first time Romney has some competition. He might go after Perry a bit.

This may be the shortest debate on record:

What is your plan for success?

Do the exact opposite of the current administration.

All in chorus "It doesnt matter about our plans we just need Obama gone"

Then we can go back to the perfect HC system we had before Obama. Remember how great it was? Why did he have to mess with it. The great bush economy that he just came in and ruined everything. Yep all our problems will be over if we just put the same bush group and ideas back in.

Maybe you should read Romney's plan before commenting. He wants people and businesses to keep more of their own money to give them incentive to expand and start businesses, not the government's money.
