Was it just me, or did anybody else who lives in Texas and has had to watch while he sells out the state government and its citizens while hiding behind first the Democrat and now Republican political machines, really want one of the other candidates to turn around and say "So how much can you be bought for, Mr. Governor?"
That would have trumped the "You're no JFK" debate moment from several years ago...
This guy is being exposed more and more, and not in a good way. At this rate, his poll numbers should be dropping soon and he will be fighting to get the votes in Iowa.

Read his answer and listen to it..very bad choice of words.
Here is another example of bad choice of words. In 2000, Perry was caught trying to get out of a ticket and trying to intimidate a state trooper. Had it been Obama instead, I am sure there would be a lot of faux outrage. Anyway, the ticket was probably well below $5000 for his buddy - so every little bit helps.
Rick Perry is supposedly a conservative. Gee, what would induce a conservative to order manditory HPV vaccinations of every schoolgirl 11+ in his state???
Perry had a right to be insulted by the suggestion that he could be bought for $5,000. Anyone who knows him knows it takes at least $50,000 to buy him.
That's what I was thinking when he said that. I think the REAL money would have come once they start forcing the yunguns to get shot up with that dope.
Merck drug company donated 55 million to a pack supporting Perry.
It costs $200,000. just to talk to a Perry aide
can you prove this? of course you can't and do you think the only candidate Merch donated to was Perry? Check this out...Are you saying the 55 mil was all for a pack that supported Perry or did that pac support several candidates?

According to a the lobbyists, Perry's price is $200,000 a pop. That's just to get in the door. So Perry is the best the Tea Party can come up with as a front-runner after they sing the praises of The Founding Fathers? What a freakin' joke.

Nita
It was mentioned on the Lawrence O'Donnell show tonight, they do a facts check on statements made during the debates.

And the 5 grand figure was just a lie anyway. It comes out today that he was given more like 15K or something by this company. I forget the figure. One would have to memorize 100 pages of FACTS a day just to "refudiate" LOL the GOP claims from the day before.
