The thing is Perry is running on a small government, fiscal conservative platform, when in reality Texas hasn't been run like that.

Lying is good work? Perry got hammered by Bachmann and Romney at the debate. If Perry wins, he will be such a weakened candidate against Obama that he won't have much of a chance. Plus he might as well not even campaign in Florida after calling Medicare and Social Security unconstitutional. There's a reason why GOP operatives don't want Perry to win and there's a reason why Democratic operatives want Perry to win.
