Last night at the GOP debate Newt called Bernanke the "most inflationary" Fed chairman in history. This may be a good applause line in a fact free debate, but if he simply checked the numbers he would see that inflation is extremely low currently. Inflation is lower now than when Greenspan was Fed chairman.

I guess the question we all should be asking is if Newt can't even look up basic facts, then how would he be able to run the country?

It would be more accurate to say that Bernanke is the "most devaluing" Fed chair.....

Who says Newt is an unbiased source for anything, as he was perusing Clinton for adultery charges while cheating on his wife...right before serving her with divorce papers to marry his mistress while his current wife was recovering from a mastectomy surgery.

The state of the economy and the downgrade of our credit also devalued the dollar, so even that claim wouldn't be telling the truth. But since, truth is a dirty word in a GOP debate I guess have at it.

Facts are a dirty word in a Democratic debate.

Clinton was impeached for perjury. Cheating is legal. Lying about it while under oath is not.

I think that Newt is the most intelligent of the bunch and, in fact, the only one that would kick Obama's hidquarters in a debate because of his intelligence and ability to keep his cool.
