Romney has a track record as governor of Massachusetts.

When he took office the Commonwealth had a deficit of $3 bil. Two years later there was a surplus of about $600 bil.

good figures and something to remember, but you also have to remember, he was governor during the sunny, bright business climate when everyone (of almost) was prospering. These are things too many of us do not take into consideration: as the country goes, often do the states.
