Not a fan of Christie overall but did very much like the video in which he defended a MUSLIM judge in NJ & basically called out other Republicans for being paranoid bigots by having a problem with it. Then you have Cain who says he would never choose a Muslim as a cabinet member. And Cain wins the Fla. straw poll. Maybe that's Christie's problem...not racist enough for the good old boys down south. Still cannot imagine Cain as a republican nominee...just doesn't play in Dixie.
Dixie is not the caricature, stereotype it once was.
obviously you are living in some other world: this push for him to run has been going on for close to a year, actively about 6 months.
I think he made the right decision as his family does not want him to run right now and he feels he isn't ready. I give him credit. I have seen him interviewed a few times (the first time months ago) he always says the same thing. One interview was an hour with his family.
