Point of fact, I'm pretty sure Obama's camp would prefer to run against Perry than Romney (or Christie).

Former GOP Chairman Michael Steele agrees with me- why didn't Perry just remove the damn rock???

Michael Steele: Rick Perry Should Have ‘Just Remove[d] The Damn Thing’ | Election 2012
Probably because you don't paint anything on a small rock and Rick Perry leased the land, he didn't own the rock. If I picked a rock to paint anything on I'd find the biggest rock around, do we really think Rick Perry should have simply removed a rock that may or may not be the size of a fridge? Seriously, are you guys thinking about this with common sense?

Has anyone talked to Herman Cain since the facts of this case came out? He commented on what the Washington Post purposely presented him, not on the true merits of the case.

Cain jumps out from the pack...a little, then like clock work for most of these lame Repub candidates, blunders badly, making a 'race card' comment...as a black man and sticks his foot in his big mouth. This is costing you, Herman.

Should have stayed on the positive, instead of attacking your fellow 'white guy' candidate! = DUMB!

The Camp ******head "controversy" will backfire on Democrats if they don't drop it soon. Rational people know that rancor over a "sign" painted over 30 years ago is a manufactured controversy. People will tire of it very soon, and it will hurt Dems the most if they don't back off.

Herman Cain was the first one to make an issue out of it!

Exactly, the Washington Post asked Herman Cain about it giving him only a few pieces of info which turned out to be false.

Didn't at first notice that in the photo it is Rick Perry nearly 22 years ago.

____

About the rock, I am sure many people would find that term offensive but I find it odd in why it was there in the first place in rural Texas. It would be interesting to see a photo of this resort, though that probably wouldn't happen considering that Perry campaign is likely trying to keep this story from floating more than it already has.
