Now that the Cain supporters might be looking around for their next savior, I thought I'll put this out to warn them, ahead of time. But then again, they probably don't care for facts anyway.
I'll never understand this logic. What would be the point in removing one bad person, only to replace him with another bad person? One promoting a warfare state, and the other a welfare state. Both are surefire parallel paths to ruin. By your logic (and surely you aren't the only one), tomorrow if Nancy Pelosi changes her party to (R) and runs, you'll vote for her just because she isn't Obama and she has an (R) next to her.

I've thought that Gingrich probably wouldn't make a good presidential candidate, but he'd be dangerous as a V.P. partner with someone who's more ideologically conservative and, well, someone who's also more likable. So not much of a threat to take on Obama head on, but obliquely? Absolutely. Newt would be a great attack dog Veep candidate.
Be afraid of Newt, very afraid as he will eat Obama alive.
