I think that it is pretty funny that after 3 years and countless speeches, and press conferences that the best example of an Obama malaprop you folks constantly reference is the 57 states gaff as being on the par with one week of Bachmann, Caine, Palin, or Perry, blunders.
As most know there are fewer than 57 states. But hey, gotta ignore those gaffs and errors when it's YOUR idiot, right?
The whole "57 states" idiocy really does expose the rightwing as appallingly clueless.
The difference between someone misspeaking and others, like Palin/Bachmann saying stupid things, is they both believe what they say.
If there is a conservative who genuinely believes Pres. Obama thinks there are 57 U.S. states, they are a product of generations of inbreeding (i.e., the family tree is a single branch).

I love when the brainwashed liberals say that Michelle Bachmann is an idiot. Here is a woman that worked as a tax litigation attorney for 5 years, with her husband runs a business that employs 50 people, served in her state legislature for 6 years, has been a congresswoman for over 5 years, raised 5 of her own children and helped to raise 23 foster children. She speaks with knowledge on all issues without a teleprompter. She doesn't hem and haw the way Obama does when he is off the teleprompter.
Obama couldn't shine her shoes.
Moreover, she is more articulate than most, understands the Constitution better than any liberal, and is able to make a point.
Contrast her with someone like Nancy Pelosi or Barbara Boxer (just to pick two). She wins hands down. They should be shining her shoes.
