He has increased or National debt by a record $5 trillion in three years. This with a major war in Iraq winding down. Unemployment has increased from 6.5% when he was elected to 9.1%. He has overseen worse racial strife and has been less transparent in contrast to what he promised in his campaign. Even democrats have to be unhappy that his failed policies have cost the party the house and soon will cost them the senate and the presidency.

He has actually made Jimmy Carter look like a great president.

The fact that people could even suggest that shows that our schools need to place a greater emphasis on American history.

Not even close. Has hasn't contributed to 4,000 american deaths or had almost 3,000 die in a terrorist attack that could have been prevented nor did he sit by while to economy tanked and millions lost their jobs and homes. Nope not even close to the one and only worst president, Mr George W. Bush.

About 1/3 of the deficit you mention is from Bush's last budget. Jobs were being lost at a clip of 700-800k a month as Bush left office. Unemployment was actually close to 8% when Obama took office.

He has done well considering the challenges he faces. I see no reason not to give him another term, especially considering the possible opposition candidates.

Did you forget that the democrats had control of congress since 2006 so they get the blame those budgets. On election day in 2008 unemployment was 6.5%. Business were so scared of the Obama socialist agenda that they stopped all new activity.

Worst?

Not by a long shot. Certainly not one of the greats, judging by his term so far. Maybe somewhere near the middle of the pack. Just because the angry, frightened, spittle-spewing radical right hates the man, is no reason to downgrade his record. Might even be a big plus for Obama.

You want worst?

Check out the guy he replaced.

Admittedly, these are the opinions of historians and presidential scholars.

Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh, and Savage-Weiner weren't consulted.

The economy was crashing before Election Day and continued to do so after. It had nothing to do with who the new President was going to be.

Nope, not even close.

The worst president in my lifetime is George Dumbya Bush, hands down. We are in the midst of the Great Bush Depression because of him.
