On Face the Nation this AM, Newt said congress has the authority to send the Capitol Police or US Marshall's to arrest federal judges who show themselves to be "out of touch with the American people" by issuing decisions Gingrich doesn't like:

Gingrich: Capitol Police Could Arrest ‘Radical’ Judges | TPM2012

This is the kind cranial diarrhea that Gingrich fans always point to as evidence of his "genius"

We are seeing more and more activist judges who make political decisions. This is wrong and must be stopped or else our justice system is a joke.

"If they don't vote the way we want them to, arrest them" Seems like something the hard right would love

Sounds very bizarre to me. In fact it sounds more like something that would come out of the hard left to me. Isn't it the left always calling for Bush, Cheney, and others with whom they disagree to be arrested? Yes, of course it is.

Why doesn't congress do their job correctly in the first place and appoint champions of justice like they're supposed to.

Supreme court justices' only job is the up hear the constitution and federals laws regardless of their political affiliation. Newt and it appeared from the recent GOP debate all but Paul liked the idea of essentially being able to shake down justices that didn't vote for their policies.
This is nothing but more than more right wing crapping on the constitution and trying to further their fascist machine.

Gingrich is an ass. His opinions are every bit as much driven by the motivation for personal gain as are those of Obama.

Newt is a democratic tyrant and he is not alone, the only thing to be decided when it comes to tyranny is will it be from the left or right. They way it looks now it could be bi partisan and we are getting there.
