Dunno.

Will Romney get more votes if he runs as 3rd party, than Perot did in 1992?

I'm going with "No." Ross Perot had a broader base of support from more mainstream Republicans and independents. If Perot would not have dropped out and talked about "Republican dirty tricks", he may very well have won. It's amazing he got 20 percent even after that incident, which made him look crazy to many.

Ross Perot was annoying. He talked in that really whiny, nasally voice if I remember correctly. He just didn't really seem all there to me.

In today's 50-50 world Paul would not have to get anywhere near 20 pct. to put Obama back in. The other question is, how many votes would Paul take from Obama. I think it's uncharted territory.

BTW I can still remember vividly watching Perot with his charts, graphs, and pointer. His main issue was the public debt, back when it was under $5 trillion. Now it's about $15 trillion, and a full 20 years later neither party has a glimmer of a plan.

"Can I finish,can I just finish?"

Perot had a LOT of centrist Dems support too...I lost interest in him after he jumped the track and also although his running mate was a good guy,I didn't want to take a chance with him being one heartbeat away as they say.

Hah ... ! Four trillion unconscionable? That's funny isn't it guys? Aren't you laughing at that paltry amount? Why its mere pocket change compared to where the debt stands today - and he thought we had big debt then, what a loser ... He doesn't even know what BIG DEBT is, right guys?

He wants to see BIG DEBT, he ain't seen nothing yet! We are just beginning to build our debt here in America right guys? More spending and more printing of money for more wars! Where gonna do this right, get rich fast and easy, take whatever we want - something for nothing is the American way! And we will pay for the whole world to come and party in our bottomless treasury! WOOHOO! Its a Party!

And we dont give a damn about our children or grandchildren, we are in this one for the moment, for ourselves ... You gotta look out for No. 1 right guys! Our children and their children and their children after them can pay for it later, they owe us anyway ... You know what im saying? Hell, if it wasn't for us, they wouldn't even be alive!

And if anybody doesn't like it ... then we will come and "shock and awe" their arse's into our way of thinking, right guys! Yehaw! It'll be our way or the highway just like ol' lady Hillary C. said, "we came, we saw, and they died!"
