It's really irrelevant at this point.

12 delegates will be chosen at the district congressional conventions. An additional 13 will be chosen at the Republican state convention. Assuming all candidates stay in the race until the RNC (unlikely), the 12 district delegates will likely support whoever won their respective districts. Because the state race was so close they may be split; best guess would be Romney 7, Santorum 6, but because Paul was also close he may be thrown a bone.

Some people are suggesting that Ron Paul supporters manipulated themselves into being chosen as local delegates to the county conventions, but that honestly doesn't mean much.

Ron Paul supporters volunteered to be delegates, and few other candidates' supporters volunteered.

The OP was talking about state delegates, not local delegates.

Even if Paul supporters manipulated themselves into local delegate positions as you so ardently believe (I don't), this will have minimal impact on how the state delegates cast their votes at the RNC.

Really?

You got that out of the OP's post and thread title?

I just gave the facts, of what has gone down. You can take from that what you wish, but your opinion is not very credible at this moment in time, if you are going to wing it.

Who exactly did volunteer in each counties caucuses?
Who was more organized and informed how to do exactly what they did.

Santorum had no volunteers! He had absolutely no organization.
Then... Santorum won't last very much longer, either.

Really? You know that for a fact?

Several local delegates from my precinct were for Santorum. All of the delegate nominees that WEREN'T elected were Ron Paul supporters. Despite the fact that Ron Paul won our precinct by an huge margin, less than half of the delegates elected were supporters of his.

By the way, the caucus is a HUGE deal to Iowa Republicans. Most people stay until they are kicked out, and there are plenty of party faithful who want to be delegates. The idea that Paul supporters could force themselves into delegate positions by sticking around is crap.
