Obama Romney 2 man race, without Ron Paul:

President Obama 50%
Flip-Flop Mitt 45%

With Ron Paul:

President Obama 44%
Flip-Flop Mitt 33%
Dr. Ron Paul 18%

Unpopular Nationally, Romney Holds Solid GOP Lead | Pew Research Center for the People and the Press

As you can see, RP would take votes away from both Obama and Madame Mitt, but he hurts the flip-flopping Mormon Madame even more.

Since I don't think RP would ever run 3rd party, I wonder if Gary Johnson--who is actually pursuing the Libertarian nomination--would have similar numbers?

If Paul doesn't win, don't care who else wins. NOBP (No One But Paul).

So that makes Mitt Romney....unelectable.

How about Gary Johnson? They are ideological twins.

I have nothing against Johnson, but only Paul gets my support. I stand faithful to a candidate even if I stand alone.

Doubtful, mostly because he's just not well known enough, and partly because people will be concerned about the fact that he has no Washington experience.

Those who live in states where you can write in votes will probably write in Dr. Paul; a lot of his other supporters would either stay home or spread the votes around the various third-party candidates.

Are there people out there that actually believe Romney would be any different from OBushMa?

Romney would be a dream for the status quo for his "flexibility" on issues and willingness to let the Military Industrial complex prosper.

Lol, i am starting to believe we will be better off with Obama over Romney. At least we know what to expect from Obama. Can't say the same from Romney. In the end, they are both basically the same.
