I was wondering why Dixie and some others have been so quiet as of late. Perhaps this is the reason.

Except in Florida, where his reputation didn't seem to be damaged even with all the attack ads. Florida is arguably the state where people have "gotten to know" Romney recently more than anywhere else.

His likeability there didn't decrease nearly as much as it did in the rest of the country and he polled better against Obama in state polls there than he had a few weeks earlier, even when the national trend was the opposite.

Yep...Romney/Newt/Santorum...they are enough to almost make GWB look good.

Romney has GW's self entitlement/smarmy **** on the poor attitude.
Newt has GW/Rove's slimeyness and greed.
Santorum has GW's IQ and scratch butt, smell finger look.

I wonder if Obama had this plannned all along, play dead for 2011 and make compromises
with the GOP and when they defied him make them seem unreasonable. but then again he could not have asked for better opponents
