How dare Pat Boone have an opinion and express it! How dare somebody, uh "old", show an interest in politics and the current state of the world. This is the domain of the young and hip.

It only counts when young cool contemporary pop stars endorse candidates. Gee, let's see, how much has Kelly Clarkson's endorsement helped Ron Paul?
