If you could please point out where I stated "nation-wide ban", that'd be great.
You said, "if it wasn't for the govt we'd still have a ban on interracial marriage". It wasn't the gov't that banned it, or unbanned it. Most states already allowed mixed marriage, and it was the Supreme Court that said the rest had to follow suit. So your premise was WRONG.
Santorum isn't conservative. He has voted 6 times to raise the debt ceiling. He believes in nation building and defending other countries borders better than ours. He's big government all the way.
I agree. He's not a true conservative, in all meanings of the word, though his social views are conservative.
Santorum seems fake, his smile and talking like a preacher drives me crazy. He tries hard to pull of the servant of God to hurt Romney but it will backfire. People do not want a religions extremist as a President. And it does not matter what Religion it's about.
When you believe the Laws of the land should be based on Biblical Principles then yes, you are a radical. Believing is one thing, forcing your beliefs on others from the Whitehouse is a different matter entirely; Americans would never tolerate such a leader. No matter, The Dems would LOVE Santorum to get the GOP Nomination, it would prove how totally out of touch and irrelevant the GOP has become an Obama would win re-election by a Landslide
Do you think Obama is doing that? He is bypassing congress, the Constitution and anything else that gets in his way. He is a little dictator. You are only supposing that Santorum will push his religion on the US. Obama is doing it! He is dismantling our constitution, our free markets, freedom of religion....
God is above all. Do you fancy yourself higher than God, or anything higher than God?
Do you shamelessly believe that Christian men and Christianity played no role in America's founding?
Well, since the founding fathers THEMSELVES wrote that America was in no way a Christian nation...
And no, I don't place myself above my God. I do know, however, that my God doesn't care how this nation is run.
Quote:
You obviously have a problem with Christian teaching.
No I don't.
I have no problems with Christanity.
I have a problem with some Christians, but I have a problem with anyone who uses their religion as an excuse to discriminate against someone.
