OMG you guys this means Obama's totally got this in the bag! Might as well wrap it up now and call it a day; see you in 2016!

For reals though, daily polls are pointless. Daily polls 6 months before the election are even more pointless. Like Wang Computers stock: poll goes up, poll goes down.
I agree with you about polls up and polls down, I have been saying this for a couple of years. AS for this poll, it is based on indepsendant voters only, certainly it can't be taken too seriously.

Check the polls as of a few days ago: go to google and you might change your mind about this. There are more polls than just Rasmussen that puts Romney up and Gallop that puts Obama up...Plus try a state by state look at the polls (for what polls are worth, not much) A candidate can get 75% of the popular vote in a state or 51, they get the same number of electorial votes.

Give it up, at this stage there is no way we can have any clue who will win in Nov. The Gallop poll was based on independants which isn't across the board and was not necessarily based on likely voters..

I know it's impossible for the right to fathom that their beloved GOP could ever lose an election, but Willard has been losing to Obama since day one in the polls.

Here is the state by state, and Obama is up by 57 electoral votes over Willard.

Today it's 49-43.

And then Rasmussen has;

49-44 Romney.

I guess Gallup took to heart the criticism from the obama campaign on their tracking poll.
