The margin of error 3% it is no lead.

a lead is when one canidate breaks out of the margin of error.

plus have you seen karl roves map. obama wins with 290 electoral votes.

obviously if we are honest we will all realize this will be a very close election unless something unforeseen happens.

Sorry but averaging polls with different research methodology is just plain dumb. I don't know why everyone quotes Real Clear Politics.

No one put a gun to your head and said you had to pay any attention to the averages.

The purpose of the link was for those interested enough to see what ALL the most popular poles were in the Romney vs. Obama matchup.

Of course you'd have to be smart enough to discern that you had the option of looking at the information any way that you'd like.

The reason you average polls is it increases the sample size and reduces the MOE...

The MOE on a sample of 500 is 3 to 4 %, The MOE on a sample of 50,000 is less than 1%, because the sample size is increased.
