Political circus at it's best. American "think" they have a choice.

What happen to "Romeny is the worst candidate to run against Obama"?

What Santorum and Gingrich want are normal requests at this stage of a campaign. The platform committee is where people should keep their eyes focused. Romney (like Obama) should be viewed through the filter of the platform ... the policies of the party. Remember, too, that Hillary Clinton asked for things before endorsing Obama. Help reducing campaign debt. Input on platform issues. Spots in the campaign and government for trusted aids. I'd be surprised if Santorum and/or Gingrich didn't ask for these things.

That is a load of BS. What Santorum and Gingrich want is a job and the ridicuolous debt they ran up...for nothing, to be paid off. I have a feeling Romney won't offer them a thing in the way of a position and it will be up to the RNC to decide whether to help with their debt. They both screwed the pooch so to speak.

Eff Santorum. Does anyone really give a pile of dung if he endorses Romney?

It's not unusual at all. There is politics inside of every party. Want someone's support. You likely have to give something. In this case, want more bible thumping social conservatives? Santorum wants something in return.

GIngrich could be a valuable member of a Romney adminstration. I see no role for a Santorum, unless maybe it's Ambassador to the Holy See or something like that.

Regardless, he is the candidate that will be running against Obama whether he's the best or the worst or in between. But even so, I don't think Santorum meant that, he was just flustered at the time and said things he didn't mean. But that's the nature of politics. Reagan-Bush had a rather vile fight for the nomination in 1980 but then what do you know, the guy who coined the term voo-doo politics became Reagan's running mate. Welcome to politics. Love it or hate it, it is what it is. And I was no fan of Santorum during the primary, and I thought he would be an incompetent president. But I would still support him over Obama had he won.
