"If the election were held today, Obama would win the veteran vote by as much as seven points over Romney, higher than his margin in the general population, according to the poll."

Weary warriors favor Obama over Romney, poll shows - US news - msnbc.com

Wow, Obama leading amongst Vets..Well, it's not suprising that Vets don't care for a fake war hawk who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth who's pretending to be "severely conservative" and yacks about going to war with Iran. What's next, Obama leading amongst old white men

are there any veterans here who would comment?

i would like to see a poll done here (but not one of those "secret" polls)

i just can't imagine veterans thinking that obama's foreign policy is sound, or that he is doing a good job overseas.

or that they his cutting soldier healthcare benefits is good, and raising premiums:

here's an idea:
why not stop paying the taliban before you do that?

Give it a few days. It will show the reverse, just as all the other polls are. Not sure why the vets are lagging; but all the other groups are bailing on him.

I'm a vet for Obama. I like Ron Paul's foreign policy ideas much better, but he is not going to be on the ticket. Obama is far less likely to get us in another pointless war than Romney. Romney seems to be quite anxious to embroil us in Israel's problems.
