Those who have looked at the stimulus conclude that it had a positive effect upon GDP and unemployment. The stimulus did what it was expected to do given its meager size.
Stop repeating left wing talking points and answer the question..

Why did job losses drop substantially before Obama even spent a dime?

Plans? Where? Is there a budget? No....it's been over 3 years since the dems have submittied a budget. If they HAD a plan involving taxes and spending cuts, then that would manifest itself in the form of a F*C*ING BUDGET!!! Write to your congressman and ask him or her why the dems have NOT put out a budget for the last 3 years. Then come back and talk.

Last year's Budget Control Act set the parameters for this year's appropriations bills, so no budget blueprint is needed.

End of story.

Actually a budget is not only needed, but required by law. Appropriation bills arent budgets..

Try again.

What you call a "left wing talking point" I call facts and the above IS the answer.

While you say "before Obama spent a dime," we see a huge increase in government spending during the first quarter of 2009.

I'll let Senator Conrad explain it to you:

Quote:
Conrad said the legislation states clearly “that it shall apply in the same manner as for a concurrent resolution on the budget.”

“You’ve heard the Republicans say the Senate hasn’t passed a budget in more than 1,000 days. They’re not telling you the whole story,” Conrad said.

“What they’re not telling you is that something else was done. An actual law was passed that is much stronger than any budget resolution.”

As I said before, End of Story.

Job losses slowed substantially before the 2nd quarter of 2009, and we all know jobs are a lagging indicator. So you didnt at all address the issue raised, in fact you completely ignored it.

The hallmark of a conservative is ti NEVER admit that factual information is correct if it doesn't support their ideology.

It's ultimately why in the long run THEY ARE GOING TO LOSE.
