Yeah you're right. ALL the delegates in ALL the states - who can vote against the will of state voters - ARE going to "change" their minds, vote for Ron Paul during the Convention, and Ron Paul will be the GOP Candidate.

Uhh huhh...
No one is changing anyone's mind and that seems to be the big problem for the GOP establishment and the propaganda they produce.
This is the kind of enthusiasm that the party’s nominee is supposed to generate, but it’s non-existent for Romney. Despite his primary successes, he’s hasn’t even been able to get his delegates seated in many states where he won the primary by a wide margin. It’s no secret that there is a strong anti-Romney undercurrent among traditional conservatives.
Where's the 1144? Mathematically, it is not going to happen for Mitt.

So what if there is a strong undercurrent of dislike for Romney? The Republican party cannot win an election with only the votes of it's registered members, and the country was no longer moderate-conservative in 2008. It swung decidedly toward moderate-liberal.
Why is Mitt the presumed nominee? Could it be that he's seen as being moderate at a time when extremism damaged the last election? Even the most naive party officials know enough to avoid an extremist again after watching the Sarah Palin train wreck.
Up is not down. Black is not white. Day is not night. The moon is not the sun. We will never see Ron Paul as the Presidential nominee of the Republican party.
