Romney‘s Bain placed a $10 million dollar liability with the taxpayers. All this while he benefited $4 million dollars directly.

...a Boston Globe report from 1994 confirms that Bain saw several million dollars in loans forgiven by the FDIC.

Republican Senate nominee Mitt Romney's rescue of a business consulting firm was achieved in part by convincing the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. to forgive roughly $ 10 million of the company's debts, according to sources close to the deal and federal records obtained by The Boston Globe.

The $10 million cost to the FDIC raises the question of whether Romney's success, as well as the resurrection of Bain & Co., came partially at the expense of the federal agency that protects US bank deposits.

Walidm, the statement you quoted (in your second post on this thread) from Redstate shows that they WILL vote for Romney in the general election. I read Redstate every few days and they are - for the most part - staunch supporters of Romney at this point.

As far as what this thread is about, he had an obligation to take advantage of taxpayer-funded benefits if they were available. His obligation was to the shareholders of Bain (as well as to the companies he was responsible for turning around), not to the taxpayers, when he was at Bain.

Why are you constantly posting anti-Romney threads? You are a staunch Obama supporter. Why are you so obsesssed with our guy? Why aren't you proud of YOUR guy? Why aren't you posting about how wonderful his record is? Why not try and convince us to vote for him instead of trying to convince us to vote against Romney?
