In Bill Clintons speach endorsing Obama, he brings up the fact that he "balanced" the budgets 4 times, and uses it as an excuse to re-vote for Obama. Not only is this histerical, but wasnt Clinton just campaigning against Walker, who has turned his state around and balanced the state budgets?

Clinton's speech detailing why the President deserves re-election was outstanding.

Yeah, because he's had balanced budgets..

He actually didnt say anything factual, and the typical left wing fear mongering, but hey.. if you say its outstanding, then this says a lot about your standards.

I think the Jan 2012 deficit was about $3Bil. Of course that is using Generally Accepted Accounting Practices.

There's nobody who could have stepped into office with the mess in 2009 and balanced budgets. That includes anyone on this planet. You don't inherit the economic mess of a lifetime and keep your checkbook balanced. It doesn't happen. It's odd that you whine about Obama's budgets, when they're the result of the social conservatives that had complete power for the majority of the 8 years leading up to Obama's presidency.

I guess it's hard to own up to being wrong.

Additionally, Clinton said he opposed balancing the budget even after the Republicans won with the Contract With America's major premise being a balanced budget. Additionally, all of those years Clinton proposed his own budget, none of which were balanced. Finally, Clinton/Gingrich never truly had a balanced budget. Every single fiscal year since 1957 has added debt.

However, I would take either Clinton any day over Obama.

Actually Wisconsin has a balanced budget in the same manner Clinton had a balanced budget. And the "true" deficit was no where near $3B.

I heard that same thing about Walker in Wisconsin...oh well.

So would Obama's broken budget promises comprise as ignorance or lies to the masses for votes in your opinion?
