Seriously, I was in Viet Nam before the lottery. I really could give a rat's patoot about who got deferred and who didn't. I was too busy trying to keep my ass, and the asses of the others in my platoon alive to give it much of a thought.

Of the last 5 Presidents, only one, George HW Bush, was a combat veteran.

Nobody can say Mittens was stupid for staying out of any war by taking advantage of available deferments. That was a stupid war fought to protect French Colonial holdings in Indochina. Protecting you own colonial theft may be immoral but protecting another's is just plain dumb.

I object to him becoming President on ethical, financial and policy matters.

He wanted the poor to go kill and be killed just not people like him. Its his mindset even now. The poor to him were put here for his use and what ever they get they deserve.

A lot of people did not go. My dad did not go, but he was in the Korean war.

I'll tell ya, you lefties are trying to grasp at anything that might stick....

Did obama ever join "anything" military?

It's lies like above that the left continues to twist the truth until it has to be true....

I've had to delete my relies 3 times because I don't want to get TOSed. What a complete di** response, dude. I was a democrat when I went and served, as were a lot of us, so you can put that kind of garbage right back where you found it. (Hint it's the lower rear of the spinal column).
