Following the recent recall attempt in Wisconsin which turned into a huge Democrat failure many people are trying to use exit poll data as evidence of voter fraud.

I personally avoid exit poll workers at all costs, if I do end up not being able to get around them I'm always dishonest with exit poll workers because I feel that their entire purpose is to invade a person's right to privacy. I would have no problem with them if they weren't so pushy or invasive in their questioning but that's just not the case.

I've spoken to lots of people who feel the same way and who aren't honest with exit poll workers. Are you?

I have never been approached so I marked that I don't participate but I would be honest if I ever was when I told them to (blank) off.

This is the problem with exit polls....which find a lot of republicans conservatives won't participate, so the polls inevitably tilt toward democrats.

I've never seen an exit poll being taken. I would participate if given the opportunity, it would be fun.

This.

I almost always vote early (it's sooo much more convenient) and I have heard/read that they don't poll early voters. But, if someone doing exit polling were ever to be there when I was voting, I would be more than happy to participate - and of course I'd be honest.

It might have more to do with the fact that Republicans/conservatives are more likely to vote early or by absentee ballot.

That might well be it. My polling place is at my kids elementary or middle school and I always bring the youngest kid with me before school starts to show them how it works...it's fun and it develops good voting habits...the older kids always vote now, no matter how small the election (of course they always cancel out my vote).

LOL...

I'm sure one day your kids will come to their senses (assuming, of course, they vote Democrat and you vote Republican - I think I remember that you're a Republican/conservative).

But, anyway, I was talking about voting before the actual Election Day. In some states, voting is allowed several weeks before the actual Election Day. In TX, early voting for most elections is open for the two weeks before the election including on a weekend and you can vote at any location at which it's offered in your entire county. It's very convenient. I believe they do exit polls throughout the day on Election Day.

Needs to be another choice on the poll.

I tell them that it none of their business now I vote.

Yes, if they vote on the official day of the election.

But - Republicans/conservatives are more likely to vote during early voting periods before the official election day in the states where it is offered. They are also more likely to vote via absentee ballot (probably because those in the military and senior citizens are much more Republican/conservative than other groups).
