This might be hard for you to understand, but conservatives have been saying for years: social issues are not what we judge our Pres vote on. We are not talking about only this election year. I don't remember Bush ever saying that, could you tell us where we can find that statement? The Pres can't just go around banning things like gay marriage or I take that back, only our now Pres can do those things without the approval of congress.

Romney will claerly state what he has;marriage si ebtween a man and woman. Obama can say what he likes but he certainyl hasn't made it any prioroty or stumped on campaign on that issue.
