Sensing defeat at the polls and in the December budget wars over extending the Bush tax cuts, liberal leaders have turned to scolding President Obama’s 2008 fans who have deserted him and threaten to undermine his reelection.
“Democracy is not an app,” shouted activist and former Obama aide Van Jones, at the opening of a three-day progressivepalooza called “Take Back the American Dream Conference.” Praising the upstart Occupy movement as a model to follow, he decried Obama’s supporters who have given up because change is hard.

“We’ll quit over a really mean tweet,” he said, adding in a mocking whine: “Did you hear that terrible tweet? And it was retweeted four times.”

Funny coming from the side who's Party is so divided that the best they could come up with was Mittens, and let's not even mention the rest of the clown college they tried to trot out, one of whom, Paul still thinks he can steal the nomination. You might want to get your own house in order before criticing the "other" guys

Well, it's a free country. They can do whatever they want.

If someone is so dim they think that Romney and the crazies have any interest in helping a frustrated democrat they will learn their lessons soon enough.

I'm betting Romney gets the Coal Miner Union vote. Heck, no Democrat bigwigs in West Virginia even plan to show up at the Democrat Convention. That would be the state that preferred to vote for a convicted felon over Obama in the DEMOCRAT primary.

Manchin, other top W.V. Dems, plan to skip Democratic convention - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

You may think no Democrat will vote for Romney. That may be true but I'm betting they simply stay home on Election Day and that accomplishes the same thing.

Funny how for all the neo-con stories about so-called "Obama deserters", seems like the only voters that Romney is managing to "drive to the polls", are Democrats!

"Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans said they would definitely or probably vote for Romney, while 91 percent of Democrats supported Obama. Obama led in every age category and every income bracket. The candidates were essentially tied among men, but Obama led by 16 percentage points among women."

You clicked on the link above but then didn't click on the link to the whole survey? They only surveyed people in Washington state.

So basically, this is the GOP's big "strategy" these days... that instead of offering a compelling "alternative", they're just hoping that enuff Obama supporters won't show up on election day (...LOL)?!
