Ahhh, breaks my heart.

That's gonna help their popularity there...lol. Let's cancel a big money maker for the state at pretty close to the last minute. Of course, if you can't get paid, what difference does it make.

I am sure it is the Republican's fault, dirty tricks and all of that. Imagine, the union's are p.o.ed over having the convention in rtw state. The big money boys and girls are ripped over the constant 'soak the rich', they're evil b--tards anyway, and the maybe the Black community in Nc ain't to hep to help. heck, even Beverly Purdue, the Dem Governor of NC is too embarrassed to run for reelection.

This swing state has done swung. Pendulum swings, yes it do.

Come 'on Progressives, excuses and blame come easy. Is the European Union that is the reason for the cancellation?

In January, Steve Kerrigan, chief executive officer of the convention committee, said that Democrats were shortening their convention from four days to three “to make room for a day to organize and celebrate the Carolinas, Virginia and the South and kick off the convention at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Labor Day,” Sept. 3.
In other words, Barack Obama was trying is damndest to win over the very NASCAR fans he has no chance in hell of supporting him in November. As this became clearer and clearer, Democrats decided to do an about-face instead of facing certain and decisive embarassment.

It's not about NASCAR fans. It's just a place to hold an event.

They couldn't come close to filling it. The money it would cost the Oboy campaign to pay people to fill the joint would be astronomical. And they don't have that kind of money.
