Perhasps you can point out where the Republicans have been calling for prosecutions by the DoJ?

Are you confused? That's exactly why they'll never be prosecuted by the Republicans.

Isn't Lehmann Bros out of business?

I think Corzine skated because more people than just him were involved.

You may find Lehmann's place in the hierarchy of interest. Barclay's also.

Go look at the study link I posted on the "revealed". It uses a 2007 database.

Yes, there are way more than JC involved in this, most definitely.

That is actually my entire POINT!!!

Are you a Liberal that has been bad-mouthing Wall Street along with Obama?

HE'S in charge RIGHT NOW.

HE'S the one saying he WILL NOT prosecute.

This revelation was just made public the other day.

That's ALL on HIM and the Democrats in charge.

We will see if Republicans complain or not. In fact, some already have been.

Try and keep up, I've said any number of times Congress is owned by special interests, on both sides of the aisle. We'll see prosecutions of their owners right after pigs start flying to the slaughter house on their own.

So when your side complains for 3+ years about how evil they are and now have the "goods" on G-S, you don't find it hypocritical of them to allow them to skate?

And your entire reasoning is because the other side got campaign funds too?

The govt is controlling shareholder in most, if not all, publicly traded companies. They are both Elitist Ds and Rs benefiting in the club, even now.

The D and R thing is just a show. Really is a distraction from "real" issues. A divisive tool, nothing more.

What are you?

About 12 years old?

Get a clue, American ploitics is loaded with hypocrites, your bias apparently prevents you from seeing it.

They're all full of crap, my only hope is preventing another ChickenHawk from inhabiting the White House.

Why aren't you whining about the RW hypocrites who allege they favor "less government, less spending" yet grow government and spend like drunken sailors whenever it suits their agenda? It's far beyond campaign funds, take a look sometime at the administration of that great RW hero Raygun and how many in his administration were pardoned by Bush I to prevent prosecutiuons.

DC is a cesspool and has been for quite some time, you're naivete is truly amazing.

Default beyond campaign donations: conflict of interest of DOJ's "top cops"

Connect the dots and follow the chronyism behind the money. (Clue, this is why Holder & Breuer will also never be held accountable for Operation Fast & Furious. Look at the big banks as money launderers for the Mexican drug cartels....feeding the campaign donations.)

Report: Cronyism behind Holder's failure to charge bankers | The Daily Caller

Quote:
GAI argues that the Obama administration’s decision to not go after Big Finance is due to senior DOJ leadership — Holder, Associate Attorney General Tom Perrelli, Associate Attorney General Tony West, Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, Deputy Attorney General James Cole and Deputy Associate Attorney General Karol Mason — who “all came to the DOJ from prestigious white-collar defense firms where they represented the very financial institutions the DOJ is supposed to investigate.”

The report details how Holder and Breuer both came to the DOJ from Covington & Burling, a “top-tier Washington law firm” with a client list that includes financial firms like Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America, CitiBank, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, ING, Morgan Stanley, UBS and Wilmington Trust.
REVEALED: Corzine

Quote:
Those wondering why the Department of Justice has refused to go after Jon Corzine for the vaporization of $1.6 billion in MF Global client funds need look no further than the documents uncovered by the Government Accountability Institute that reveal that the now-defunct MF Global was a client of Attorney General Eric Holder and Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer’s former law firm, Covington & Burling.

There’s more.
Records also reveal that MF Global’s trustee for the Chapter 11 bankruptcy retained as its general bankruptcy counsel Morrison & Foerester--the very law firm from which Associate Attorney General Tony West came to DOJ.
