A lie, debunked many times on this board, but repeated again and again.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, or CBO, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have both released reports since the health care law passed showing that the Affordable Care Act will reduce future spending growth on Medicare by more than $500 billion.

The biggest portion of that savings, according to Neuman’s tutorial, will come from reducing annual increases in payments to medical providers. But the health care law does not cut $500 billion from Medicare. It just reduces future growth.

With the law, Medicare spending will still increase.

PolitiFact New Jersey | Jon Runyan claims Affordable Care Act cuts Medicare program by $500 billion

Now, will you go and repeat this lie again in another thread?

The campaign just got easier for the President to wage, with the entry of Congressman Ryan. Romney lacked specificity, intelligent thought and proposals regarding what he would do as President. He earlier endorsed the Ryan budget plan, but didn't talk much about it afterwards. Obama now has the specifics of the Romney/Ryan budget proposals to focus on and that focus will stimulate segments of the electorate because it's not now just talking about what a Congressman from Wisconsin might do, it's turned to what a President Romney/Vice President Ryan would do. And what they want to do has been rejected by a majority of the electorate in national polls. Regarding Vice President Biden: he carries far more respect from the electorate than Congressman Ryan. The GOP really hasn't laid a hand on him in this election thus far. His depth of experience and success in the Congress and as Vice President isn't challengeable. Ryan talks the talk. Biden has walked the walk. Big difference. Romney had no choice but to go to the political extreme in selecting Ryan because his campaign was falling apart and his preference numbers were sliding. Ryan is more about shoring-up the base than attracting independents and undecided.
