I am not a Bill Clinton fan--I don't have much respect for people who can't keep their pants zipped--but that doesn't mean the he isn't smart and effective at what he does. His speech might have gone over time but it wasn't too long. From a strategic standpoint, He did exactly what he needed to do--take on the republicans point by point, and he did it in a folksy and funny, yet wonky way. The democrats love him, he fires up their base, and he's in a position where he can directly take on the other side where Obama can't without looking mean. It worked, and anyone who says it didn't work has sour grapes.

"It's all about me" Clinton never tires of talking about himself.

Especially when they take advantage of impressionable young worshippers.

Yeah, great speech from a guy with the integrity of a pimp.
The collective IQ and moral compass of this country is dismal.

Really? Not to me !! But, if one has no regard for moral fiber in a politician/man/woman, I guess they could find the most disgusting human trash...charming.

Both Clinton and BO were elected on their ability to sell their BS to a ignorant, blind, fickle electorate. i.e. suckers. Neither would recognize a real Statesman if he/she was standing in front of them.

I hate to tell you this, but both sides have their problems with sex scandals. Think "congressional pages" a few years back.

I am aware there are also homosexuals in Washington.
