The Gallup poll is a 7-day running average of registered voters. Rasmussen is a 3-day running average of likely voters.

How does the Gallup poll exactly factor in yesterday's speech?

Oh, I have also been push-polled by the National Organization for Marriage. I could tell their angle and I didn't like it at all. They didn't like my answers, either...

I don't know.

All I know is that yesterday President Obama's approval/disapproval were even and today they're not.

So, perhaps the change doesn't reflect a "bounce," just a change in the rating that was going to happen anyway.

^Actually, to be clear, the approval rating is a 3-day average. The election poll is a 7-day average.

Once you said that you were no longer of any Rasmussen poll value.

The ratings are in for Obama’s speech last night. NBC’s ratings were off 5%compared to 2008. Of course NBC has very low ratings to start with.

CBS’s ratings were off 31% and ABC’s ratings were off 50%.

Are the people finally getting sick and tired of Obama?

Oh wait, wait, wait. So when Rasmussen had Romney +3 after the RNC, there was no bounce, but now that Obama is up 3, there is a bounce. Do liberals not understand the concept of "double standard"?

I watched it online, do you have those ratings? How about the cable networks?

Welcome to 2012! I don't think it's going to be a very fun time for you.

Well, no, because that 3+ that Romney had the week after his convention is the same that he had before the convention, with maybe a difference of 1 point either way.

For the whole time I've been checking Rasmussen, Willard has always shown a two or three point advantage over Obama.

Thus, no bounce for Romney!
