President Obama is running another ad pretending Mitt Romney has a secret plan to raise taxes on the middle class, which Freudians would call projection. We're not sure what they'd call the President's bid to make us his accomplices by invoking The Wall Street Journal, but our term for it is political sociopathy.
Quote:
"To pay for huge new tax breaks for millionaires like him," the narrator says, "Romney would have to raise taxes on the middle class—$2,000 for a family with children, says a nonpartisan report." Then this newspaper's nameplate glides across the screen, with the text, "Study: Romney's Tax Plan Hits Middle Class, 8/1/12."

That would be a 250-word, four-paragraph item on the Journal's Washington Wire blog, which merely informed readers of the existence of a Tax Policy Center study on the Romney tax plan. That's the supposedly "nonpartisan report" the ad cites.
Quote:
Egged on by the likes of the Tax Policy Center, the media are demanding an absurd level of detail from Mr. Romney that no candidate in history has ever been required to offer. (What will you do about the tax treatment of municipal bond interest?) Meanwhile, Mr. Obama is awarded with a get-out-of-policy-jail-free card for his budget that proposes to take on debt indefinitely until the economy crashes. A middle-class tax increase is far more likely—we'd say a certainty—under Mr. Obama's plan than it is under Mr. Romney's.

We want nothing to do with that agenda, but readers who see our name exploited in a TV ad should take it as one more sign of the Obama campaign's serial dishonesty.
The campaign uses a discredited blog, passes it off as a fact regarding Mitt Romney's economic plans for the middle class, and then gets called out for "serial dishonesty."

Shame, shame! And embarrassing!! That's what I call a campaign in desperation!!

You do know that when Mitt was governor of Massachusetts that the tax burden on the middle class went UP right? And that he increased taxes on corporations?

Here is an article from the Manchester Union Leader.
http://www.unionleader.com/article/2...ON02/701069993

And in case you are unfamiliar with this paper, this rag is SO arch-conservative I wouldn't use it to line a birdcage.

Why would anyone expect him to do things differently as POTUS (yikes what a horrible thought!).

While I do not credit your first sentence as correct, let's look at your second one...

Obama befriended radicals, hung out with his chuma gang, enlightened himself with the racist reverend wright, and steeped himself in his parents radical, socialistic ways. Now, considering all that in his past, why would anyone expect him to do things differently as POTUS? Oh wait....he hasn't!

Maybe if a parent's views rubbed off on their offspring, Romey would have released the same amount of years of tax returns that his father did. Offshore accounts does not axactly scream patriotism and vulture capitalism does not really shout character and empathy...

Well, being raised by and mentored by Communists doesn't exactly scream American in any way either.

When a government wants to tax its citizens it will find ways to do it. Obama supporters want tax increases on others but many Democrats are against letting the Bush tax cuts expire on incomes 200k and above saying the cut off should be $1 million and above. These democrats including Nancy Pelosi believe its set too low and will send us into another deep recession.

So here we are, Chicago teachers, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Obama's former White House chief of staff on Thursday defended his decision to authorize a $41 million school property tax increase, a 1.5% property tax increase for everyone who owns a home. I'll bet Chicagoans are so cheeky about a tax increase now that the tax increase hits all homeowners including those who are underwater. If your bank handles the property tax payments your mortgage payment just went up.

Although this is not Obama, increasing taxes is Obama's mindset and solution. It will not stop here. We are voting to increase taxes showing the government that we can be persuaded to increase taxes and once that flood gate is opened. Well it's already happening in Chicago.
