With Joe Kennedy III running for congress, I was thinking Why was it so easy for him to cruise to nomination (and probably congress) Why is the Kennedy Name so powerful?
It seems similar to a name brand, no matter how utterly incompetent a Kennedy is (s)he gets in anyway.
Like for example Call of duty has rediculous sales. Even though the last few games pretty much sucked, people buy it because they remember the first 3 or 4, so therefore the people buy it anyway. Despite being far removed (they are at what 7) Same thing with the Kennedys, with they memory of Ted, John, and Robert Kennedy, people go with whats comfortable, which is a Kennedy

that or they are Democrats

Chevy or Cadillac, take your pick. They are both made by the same company, for the same price.

Why does the sun shine?????

You will do just as well as Kennedy here in Texas if you change your name to Bush and run for office. I guess it is the same if you change it to Clinton and head for Arkansas.

The Gores had a legacy in Tennessee.

The Stevensons had a legacy in Illinois.
Adlai I was Governor of Illinois and Vice president to Grover Cleveland
Adlai II was also Gov of Illinois and ran for president twice but lost both times to Eisenhower
Adlai III was a Senator and House member from Illinois

just about Every state has their political dynasties
