Not a huge Kennedy fan here- however I was truly moved by Caroline's tribute and Ted Kennedy's speech.

Glad to see how he has truly committed himself to the welfare of the American people since 1980. He has championed the disabled ,poor, children, the elderly and those without a voice for so many years with every ounce of his being.

You bet. TK has done a lot for the common good. I wish he'd been elected as a president.

I couldn't help but think of all the things he has done for this country that we now take for granted. I just hope he makes it to the promise land of seeing the universal health care, for which he has fought for so many years, come to pass.

Setting aside all the troubles he's had in the past, he has been an iron horse for the people.

I'm very sorry he is fighting brain cancer. I've been fighting kidney cancer myself. It's very hard on everyone

God bless him

Sorry to hear that. Your cancer isn't related to 9/11, is it?

I was touched as well. When you think about the history within his lifetime, it's amazing. It had never occurred to me how many things we take for granted for now that he helped bring about. Very well done speech IMO.

Hopefully he doesn't have to cross a bridge before getting to the promise land.

He truly has been the advocate for the common man.

He remains in my prayers.
