Interesting, Romney does not believe water boarding to be torture, I wonder if he will volunteer to have his lungs filled with water ?

Torture never left. Obama just happens not to be doing it at this time.

Nobody was investigated for torturing. No laws were put in place to prevent it from happening again.

Obama claims the right to kill US citizens with no judicial oversight so you can damn well surmise he thinks he can torture as well, we he alone sees fit.

The US is clearly a nation that uses torture now. There is no question about it.

Default Romney would bring torture back ?

It's happening right now, nothing has changed in the real world, you just don't get to know it, just as it should be.

Water boarding does not fill the lungs with water. If it did, the subject would be drowned. I do not believe water boarding is torture, and it has provided us with valuable information that we otherwise would not have obtained.

Obama is torturing the U.S. economy into submission to implement his redistribution schemes.

Let's not forget that rendition is still on the table.

I guess it's not torture if the Saudis do it for us.

FTR, the first clues used to locate UBL were collected at secret CIA prisons using enhanced interrogation techniques.

If Bummer want to thump his chest about bagging UBL, he can own the methodology by which he was located too.

I would say the NDAA certainly is a useful tool in this regard. NM "assassination lists". Though I suppose we can argue assassination isn't torture and neither is detention.
Americans already detained under NDAA?

Our ambassador was tortured and murdered and Obama said this was a result of "natural protests" to a youtube flick. I don't think Obama is overly concerned about the torture of American citizens.
