I think that is a fair assessment. I actually expected Ryan to do even better but I would call it a draw. Believe it was just a bit too far down in the weeds for the average American.
Actually, no. It's because she didn't allow one to answer the other's claims and would not allow the candidates to answer before interrupting. At least Lehrer let them speak but he did let it get away from him completely.
Ryan did get his chance to answer, but HE CHOSE NOT TO. Just on the Romney/Ryan tax cuts, he couldn't answer Martha's question FOR SPECIFICS on how they're going to pay for it. He just gave the same BS talking points and vagueness that he always gives.
