I like the idea of simplifying the tax code, lowering the overall rate, and getting rid of the multiple credits that mire the tax code. However, I do think it's going to be hard to explain that effectively and I do not think Romney has explained it well. Obama's plan is well known...tax the rich. It preys upon disgruntled people's jealousy and anger.
