Again (like a broken record)

During the debate, the issue in question was whether or not Obama called it a terror attack during his speech in the Rose Garden.

Your video is not the speech in the Rose Garden. Your video is not of Obama. It is irrelevant to this specific topic, which is Obama's speech in the Rose Garden, the day after the attack.

That does not make Romney right when he kept repeating over and over that Obama didn't call it an act of terror that day in the Rose Garden. As the moderator said, the transcript shows that he did.
And Carney on Air Force One on September 20th says he didn't:
Quote:
Q Can you -- have you called it a terrorist attack before? Have you said that?
MR. CARNEY: I haven’t, but -- I mean, people attacked our embassy. It’s an act of terror by definition.
Q Yes, I just hadn’t heard you --
MR. CARNEY: It doesn’t have to do with what date it occurred.
Q No, I just hadn’t heard the White House say that this was an act of terrorism or a terrorist attack. And I just --
MR. CARNEY: I don’t think the fact that we hadn’t is not -- as our NCTC Director testified yesterday, a number of different elements appear to have been involved in the attack, including individuals connected to militant groups that are prevalent in eastern Libya, particularly in the Benghazi area. We are looking at indications that individuals involved in the attack may have had connections to al Qaeda or al Qaeda’s affiliates, in particular al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.

And so he made a mistake in blaming a youtube video.

He could have blamed it on a Cher video but that still wouldnt have changed the fact that the attack had already occured and they were still trying to figure out what happened.

You guys keep trying to make this water pistol into a smoking gun.

Why on earth do you think there wouldn't be an investigation into something that was declared an act of terror?

Was there no investigation into 9/11?

Yes, and its also a fact that President Obama does not personally oversee the funding and assigment of security details at consulates, so what exactly are we supposed to do with your statement?

P.S. We ALL heard him. Well, except you.
Fox News is not we. Romney lost, Crawley told the truth and you're just terrified to admit it. It's pathetic.

False.

Obama, and every other Obama Admin official ALL refused to call it an act of terrorism or a terrorist attack. Even CNN admits that fact:

The White House, for the first time Thursday [September 20th], declared the attack that killed Stevens and three other people a terrorist attack.

Again, that is not from Obama, and it is not from his speech in the Rose Garden the day after the attacks.

That is what the point of contention was during the debate. Did Obama, on Sept 12th, during his speech in the Rose Garden, refer to the attack as an act of terror?

You can continue to link everything else under the sun. The transcript above is exactly what was being referenced. Romney dug his own grave there by focusing on that speech, that day.

I voted NO simply because it's not CNN's place to judge her performance as a debate moderator. But she has exposed herself as the incompetent shill she is.

She should be prohibited from moderating any other Prezzy debates based on her performance.
