Fox News is not we. Romney lost, Crawley told the truth and you're just terrified to admit it. It's pathetic.
Obama just talked and talked with no answers . Obama is choking the economy with denying job creation.
Obama has done nothing! Obama only manipulates the people with keeping his image. Obama couldn't even tell Joy Bayhar on the view it was a terrorist attack.. Obama is a total loser, coward, manipulator of the truth, and king of the liars.
So glad we have Romney . Makes Obama look inept on all topics including energy, women's rights, illegal immigration and job creation. Romney can turn it around. Obama did nothing to turn it around. Foreclosures are hitting hard again because of unemployment. Numbers don't like. Trulia , the website that lists foreclosures if full of homes that families have lost. Four years later and we are in worse shape than ever. Obama better go back to his class room and let a real man who has the experience to create jobs go to work. Romney is that man.
What did Obama say in the Rose Garden a day after the attack in Libya? We covered this previously in our extensive timeline of administration statements on Libya.
“No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for,” Obama said.
But the president did not say “terrorism”— and Romney got tripped up when he repeated the “act of terror” phrasing.
Obama did not call the attack on Libya an act of terror on September 12th in the Rose Garden. What Obama said was,
“No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for,”
Where's the mention of the attack on Libya being an act of terror?
Answer: There isn't one. Because Obama didn't say that. Obama was referring to acts of terror against the U.S. but didn't say that the attack on the Libyan Embassy was one.
The Washington Post concurs:
Quote:
By our count, it took eight days for an administration official to concede that the deaths in Libya were the result of a “terrorist attack.”
More to Romney’s point, Obama continued to resist saying the “T” word, instead repeatedly bringing up the video, even in a speech to the U.N. General Assembly on Sept. 25.
On Sept. 26 — 15 days after the attack — the White House spokesman felt compelled to assert “it is certainly the case that it is our view as an administration, the president’s view, that it was a terrorist attack.”
Friday [Sept 28th], we got the administration’s sort of definitive statement that this now looks as though it was a pre-planned attack by a terrorist group, some of whom were at least sympathetic to Al-Qaeda. Why do you think, and are you bothered, that it has taken them so long to get to this conclusion?
I don't expect anyone on the left to open their mind enough instead they will enjoy another false talking point and be on their "in" but broke crowd. Either way here it is.
In a statement given in the Rose Garden on Sept. 12, Obama emphasized an anti-Islam video, before saying that “no acts of terror would shake the resolve of this great nation.”
The administration’s narrative on the attack over the next two weeks was muddled.
On Sept. 16, U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice attributed the attack on the U.S. Consulate to violent protests stemming from a “heinous and offensive” video.
On Sept. 25, the president himself declined to call the attack an act of terrorism during an interview with “The View,” saying that an investigation was still ongoing.
Update (12:22 a.m.): After the debate, “Romney was actually right on Libya” trended on Twitter in the United States:
