It's needed if Oblama loses the big three plus NH this race will be called before we cross the Mississippi.

Plus 5 in the only state that voted for Mondale is um not good.

You think a 5 point lead in deep blue Minnesota is good news for Obama?

Let me remind you that Minnesota is the ONLY state that voted Democrat in 1984.

Wasn't Minnesota Mondale's state? I think that might've helped.

I live in MN. Obama will win. Rasmussen's 3.5 point bias means its more like 54 to 46. Either way Minnesota is safe dem.

Actually Rasmussen typically uses a D+2 or D+3 turnout model for their polls, so the race is actually closer to a dead heat than 54 to 46.

Either way, I agree with you that Minnesota is safe blue. The voters there have proven their ignorance time and time again by electing clowns like Al Franken and Jesse Ventura. Plus the Vikings suck.

Comparing ARG to ARG, Romney's lead in NH has been slashed in half since the second debate. Granite State, the most accurate poll on NH historically, has Obama up by a country mile. NH will go to Obama.

What it may do is force Obama to expend resources on MN, causing other states to possibly turn red. If he chooses not to have any ground game in MN, it could end up a big surprise and not in a good way.

I'm still long on the Rmoney taking Oregon. Do not underestimate Portlandia's liberalness and how Obama going to the middle can backfire on him. Smoking weed and getting laid sounds like a much better way to spend Tuesday evening than to stand in the cold to vote for someone you don't even like. Yes, it's a small chance but I would totally go in with 5-1 odds.

Ignorance is when someone feels a need to attack an entire state to make a point - try to use some degree of intelligence. Are my feelings hurt - nope.

But I agree, enough people will use common sense and keep Obama as president.

no, rasmussen has a 3.5 point republican bias. silver broke down poll bias in a 2010 article.
