If tables were turned would there be a larger uproar on this?
Libs tend to be irrational and can turn violent, but they usually just destroy property. When Romney is president, those death threats will be a federal crime and action will be taken. Until then, one simply has to realize that there are nut jobs everywhere and idiots suggesting "death threats" is just part of the political landscape.

There sure would be, in fact the word would be that Romney voters were violent and racist. But since it's just average, everyday, peaceful and compassionate democrats, wishing death and violent riots against Romney, the main stream liberal media think - well, who can blame them. *shrug*

I would not be so certain about action being taken when Romney becomes President. There was certainly no action taken when Bush was President.
Yes there are nuts on both sides of the fence but the left wing nuts seem to get less media attention and certainly the secret service is not interested in the threats against Romney. I think we will get a glimps of the "intellegent" party when Romney wins and they all start throwing poo around the streets and beating their chests.

There are nutcases on both sides. What is more important than the extremists is the base. We saw all the trash left on the mall in DC after Obama's innaguration (sp?)....it will be interesting to see what it's like after Romneys.
I have relatives who have talked seriously about their fear of riots in their neighborhood if Obama loses. One has even said she thinking about staying with other relatives if she thinks it will happen. She has been getting more worried about it lately. She is a Obama fan. I don't necessarily think she is being overly dramatic.
