I try not to engage in it myself and I think it is beneath the dignity of the office when a candidate does it. It's one thing to attack someone's policies and a totally different thing to attack the person. Romnesia is real close to crossing that line. I hope Obama passes that torch to Biden quickly, it doesn't look good for a sitting president to engage in name calling.
They aren't responsible for the idiots that support them.
Romney used the term "Obamacare" in the first debate, apparently hoping to get a rise out of Obama. Instead, O. laughed it off.

If you can not grasp the difference between Obamacare and Romnesia, trying to logicially discuss the issue is futile. One would think a person who considers a piece of legislation as his finest moment, would not have an issue with that program being named after him. Obama himself said he considers it an honor, I take him at his word and were I him I would feel the same way. I have never understood people's issue with that term. Romnesia, on the other hand, can not be mistaken for anything but a slur.
I've come to expect those words and juvenile references from the left. I'm not talking about morons posting on forums; I'm talking about those in power and the ones who surround them. I really can't imagine Romney speaking like 0bama and his people.
0bama has the mentality of a 12 year old bully on the school playground. This goes down well for those who adore him. They eat it up.
You're correct, as usual.
Kenyan, Obummer, *******s, president hussein, socialist, communist, Obots, et cetera are SO much more adult.
BTW - Romney is a certified bully since his school days, and, like all bullies, is a coward.
I think Romnesia is brilliant politics. But the name calling by Republicans on the forum is very juvenile and disrespectful to the Presidency. What can you do about a bunch of knuckle-dragging morons, though? They lack the vocabulary one gets by going beyond the 8th grade.
I guess you haven't seen all the left leaners here who like to talk about Willard. When I, for a day or two referred to Hussein they really didn't like that. They took the first given name of Romney and used it for kicks among themselves but didn't like me calling the hero Hussein. That is his middle name, isn't it?
Did you hear Obama say in the game playing session the other night that he wished his name was Hussein? Surely you heard that.
Well seeing the Cons in here like to throw around the word "Liberturd" quite, well liberally, I would say nicknames and name calling comes from both sides....it is basically apart of our American culture, even if some of the Cons that have posted on here so far want to pretend it only comes from the left and not their precious right.
Since so many of you libs don't like to be called leaners, by me, from shortening left leaners maybe I will have to go back to doing it. I really got a kick out of progs asking me what leaner meant when it should have been obvious.
Thanks for clarifying, and BTW just glancing at your profile, apparently you're a frequent poster here and you also seem to be reasonably savvy, especially about current events. So no offense, but I'm curious, how does anyone, let alone a Democrat, NOT see all the nasty "nicknames" and downright virulent hatred directed at Obama for the last 4 years?!! I swear, you can hardly even scan the radio these days, without hearing at least half a dozen stations calling the POTUS everything but "white" (yet meanwhile "Romnesia" gives you heartburn)?!
I never hear those things you say by watching Fox News. What channels do you stop on? I might like to hear some of that.

Can we start a post on posters that post like 12 year old bullies behind a key board.

Obama was joking, and I think you know that. "Obamacare" has always been used as a slur. Romney used it as a slur at the first debate.
Here's the difference:
Romney said "Obamacare".
Obama said "Romnesia".
