In no manner do I like the results of our economy 2008-2012, but I have also never seen as SPINELESS a GOP nominee as Romney.

Every wingnut from a minor fraction of the party runs unchallenged by Willard.

Remember this moment.
McCain Supporter: "Obama is an Arab" - YouTube

Had this happened a month earlier, it would not have surprised me if the election were tight, and Al Franken, the 60th Obamacare vote, does not happen.

This moment was not about the woman and JM. It was JM taking Palin to the woodshed. It finished Palin, thank God, for future campaigns nationally.

In that moment, JM gave his party new life, and his nation honor.

Try imagining Mittens having 1% of that amount of courage.

So that makes Romney only, what? 100 times better than Obama?

It makes America a loser no matter who wins. In short, America will be eagering awaiting 2016, as we cannot do worse, either way.

Wrong, Aero. Actually I am a Bob Corker supporter, both via time and money. I did vote for Mitt in the primary, but if I could have that vote back, I'd have chosen a different nominee.

McCain is a hell of a man. The Republicans had one chance to get a man I respect elected in my lifetime and they failed. Just like they'll fail this time.

The only people the Republicans can manage to elect are insane.

We lack those the last few decades. IMO, when we stopped thinking our annilation was possible, and no 9/11 did not threaten 99.999% of us, we became a country of "I(s) with no "we". Perhaps our not feeling 100% safe in past eras was a blessing, more than a curse.

Soon to win his 2nd Senate term. Key player in 12/2008 DC-Auto Senate hearings. Spent more than 1 week going over their financials with industry analysts before the hearings.

While Hillary would have been my preferred President in 2008, I would have likely supported McCain over Obama had Palin not been on the ticket. Republicans really screwed that one up.
